Guitar phenomenon Clive Carroll’s masterful compositions, coupled with his versatility and unparalleled technical virtuosity, make him one of today’s most admired and respected guitarists.
Whilst studying, Clive realised a passion for the steel-strung guitar that led to him playing everything from 16th and 17th century lute music to Jazz standards, Blues, Irish reels and his own ground-breaking compositions.
It was recognition by guitar legend John Renbourn which set Clive on a career which has seen him performing and producing four CDs. The latest, The Furthest Tree, is entirely self-penned and features a collection of music that showcases the prodigious developments in Clive’s music world.
Tickets: £15 Full. £14 Concessions.
Clive has performed for us many times as part of the ever-popular 4 Parts Guitar and most recently played solo in November 2016. This gig attracted a large audience who were spellbound by his fantastic playing. It is great that Clive is also providing a guitar workshop that will again prove to be very popular with all lovers of the instrument.
