Online booking Charge
We offer various ways in which you can purchase your tickets.
At the Box Office. Open Weds and Fri from 11 am to 1.30pm.
On the night (Beware, we often sell out for the most popular events so you could be disappointed)
In the village at N & D News opposite the Blake Hall.
By Post - Please enclose a cheque made out to 'Petherton Arts Trust' (NOT The David Hall) and enclose a stamped addressed envelope. - We regret that if you do not enclose a SAE your tickets will be held on the door. We will also hold tickets ordered too late to send out by post.
By Telephone - We can accept telephone reservations to be followed up by a cheque payment but can only hold tickets for three working days. We are very sorry but we do not have the facilities to take card payments at the box office or over the phone. You can however pay using a debit or credit card when booking on the internet as follows :-
1. USING PAYPAL
You can book and pay for your tickets via this web site. Click the 'Full Calendar' button on the left of the screen to see a list of every forthcoming event then click on the one you're interested in. Enter the number of tickets required, then press the 'add this to my cart' button. These will be recorded in your 'shopping basket'. You can order tickets for several events if you wish.
When you are done, click on the 'go to check out' button and follow the instructions. If you have made a mistake you can delete your order there. You can ONLY pay us on-line via Paypal (we can't take credit cards directly ourselves). HOWEVER. Paypal DO permit you to pay using a credit or debit card WITHOUT needing a Paypal account. Paypal is an internationally recognised web payment service. It is totally secure and means that your ticket is instantly paid for and reserved in your name.
NEW - NO MORE QUEUING AT THE BOX OFFICE.
You will receive a confirmatory email with your booking reference order number on it WHICH NOW ALSO DOUBLES AS YOUR TICKET ! Please bring the whole email along to the event and give the lower half to the volunteer steward on the door into the auditorium.
nb. If you can't print out the email or forget to bring it along, then just go to the box office, tell them your name and they will be happy to give you your ticket.
The first time you order a ticket for an event, you will be asked to do two things.
1. Register your name and address details with us. (We have very strict rules about your personal privacy and NEVER give, sell or otherwise present your details to any outside body). We will send you the occasional email to inform you about new events but nothing else - definitely NO annoying Spam.
2. When you have ordered your tickets you will be taken to the Paypal site where you will be asked for your payment details.
N.B. Paypal is a completely separate computer system to ours. If you already have an account with them then all you need is your email address and password to pay. If you DON'T have a Paypal account you need to look out for the 'Don't have a Paypal account - click here' button which permits you to pay with your credit card.
ADDITIONAL ON-LINE CHARGE In common with most other on-line payment systems, we have to make a charge for the convenience of booking on-line. This is not so that we make extra profits - far from it. Paypal charge us a fee based on a percentage of the total ticket cost. On average it now costs us £1.60 to process an on-line booking so we have had to recently increase our charge to help offset this (sorry). There is now a sliding scale of Paypal fees payable. Order total up to £10 - No Paypal supplement. Between £10 and £100 - £2; Over £100 - £2.50 As a non-profit making charity, we can't afford any unnecessary overheads.
Returns. In common with all other theatres, our policy on unwanted tickets is that we will only accept tickets for resale AFTER all other tickets have been sold at the box office. We charge a £5 administration fee to process refunds.
