As part of the Arts Council funded ‘Reaching Out’ project Actiontrack Performance Company will be running a series of ‘Creative Lab’ programmes across Somerset for established and emerging participatory artists over the course of the next 12 months.
These programmes (2-days) will look at creative ways in which arts practitioners can develop their work alongside and with each other and local arts centres to develop active delivery within the local community.
These are open to any artist, teacher or practitioner with an interest in developing their work in new venues and in new partnerships and will cover such areas as:

Actiontrack’s Creative Labs are practical as well as reflective and draw on the skills and practice of the individual artists to play with and develop new and shared ways of working that are stimulating and relevant for themselves, participants and host venues.
These will take place at:
The David Hall, South Petherton. 30th and 31st of August 2018
The Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre, Taunton. 5th and 6th September 2018
Bridgwater Arts Centre. (Dates to be confirmed - likely to be early 2019)
A daily fee and expenses will be available and participants are welcome to attend more than one Lab but places are limited. To register your interest please contact either:
